Taste Note: Bright ruby red color. Very aromatic bouquet with red-berry, floral, and licorice notes. The tannins are soft and well-integrated on the palate. The red-berry flavors (wild strawberry, blackcurrant) reappear, together with touches of undergrowth, tobacco, and toasted almond.
Winemaking Process: Grown on the hottest and driest soils of the Languedoc, on dry and pebbly lands. Skin maceration and low-temperature fermentation. Aging in stainless steel.
Sommelier Advice: Perfect for Aperitifs, mackerel and potatoes, grilled tuna steak, roast poultry, and Brie de Meaux cheese. Serve at 18-20C.
